Excel Power Query Training for Beginners
A concise introduction to the Excel business intelligence professional tool Microsoft Excel Power Query. You'll learn to query different data sources using Excel, and use Power Query to transform the data, making it easy to understand. The course contains many practical exercises and real-world examples, and get the optimal introduction to Power Query.Power Query is a self-service ETL tool (Extract, Transform, Load) which allows you to extract data from various sources, and transform it to meet your needs within Excel. Use data from almost 40 different sources, including databases such as SQL, Oracle, Access, Teradata, corporate ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, internet services such as Facebook, Google Analytics, and almost all websites; import from major data formats including XLSX, TXT, CSV, JSON, HTML, and multiple Excel workbooks simultaneously. Delete irrelevant data and blank area; sort or filter the data: correct capitalisation, number-as-text, fill in the blanks, add table headings, separate combined data items; change column order, add totals, expand crosstabs into flat tables). Replace data from one table to another randomly by one or more parameters, i.e. perfectly replace the VPR function (VLOOKUP) and its analogues.
